He looks like he hasn´t taken care of himself. He hasnt shaved, or did his eyebrows, and like he haven´t had a shower in weeks (because of his hair). He looks tired as well, its weird seing him like that.

I’m curious where you see it, because i dont see it. ANd i’ve noticed there’s always a certain number of people that will say something negative about him.

All i see is Rob, out on the town to an exclusive event with his friends, he’s not “pimping” himself out with some “look at me i’ve arrived” outfit, he looks relaxed and he looks clean thank you very much.

His hair is growing back REALLY FAST! And he actually looks RELAXED like he has actually slept! as opposed to all the pics where he was doing the relentless promotion of Twilight where he was flying from one city to the next, from one country to the next, now he’s home, with family and friends, he gets to relax and sleep, and go out to open mic nights and sing songs!!

I just wish people would lay off him with the whole “he looks miserable, he’s lonely, he looks like he hasnt shaved or washed” thing.

TO ANGELINA: I think no one here ever wanted to deny anyones right to express feelings! The thing is, I (and i have a feeling im not the only one…) dont think you are right about his feelings and actual condition.
First of all… i wouldnt want to speak for him, but you can actually read a lot of his opinions these days (and he is keeping it quite real! – mean American “quite” )
so i think what i can say is: He likes London, he stil feels there as home and he will be feeling this way for some time… (why shouldnt he? – whole family, friends… living in his own house instead of some rented apartment…) and then you can ad on top that he likes NOT TO CARE much about his looks, about being pretty for the others. When you take in mind these facts… I mean you cant be sure about anything, but you certainly can assume he is much happier than he would be in US being draged from one place to the other.
PLS take this just as another opinion. Im not trying to convince anyone… what would be the purpose of that?

Well, your comment doesnt say anything that i wouldnt agree on. Actually, thats what I was trying to say from the beginning but, people here are taking things too personal, as if they knew him, and they are trying to defend him (as if they knew how he feels or is), and I mean, he´s never gonna see it, you know, he´s just an actor after all, and we are all here because we like his work and we put some comments about him, right?, and whats the problem then? Why if I wanna say what I think about how he does, or how he looks, (In my opinion), Why does somebody has to correct me?, Is my thinking after all, and its not like im some danger or something. We all think different, so put it and thats it, or not. But dont try to put words in someone else´s mouth because its not how it works you know, thats why everybody´s different, and we all think different, and nobody that writes in here know him to tell the truth and correct us, and even if you know him, you are not him, so you cannot tell if your right, so its again, just opinions, comments, dont take it as if we´re talking about you. Some people like it when “celebs” are “keeping it real”, when they are not followed by an entourage of minders that are there for the celebs every need, when they are not all prim and proper, some people like it when celebs are NORMAL, Rob reminds me of a NORMAL person that does NOT seem affected by his sudden “fame”, and good for him! I hope he NEVER changes that aspect of his life. Thats what made me a fan in the first place. If he was all prim and proper and pretentious, i would say “bye bye” to him! I cant stand it when people are being fake like that.

He reminds me a lot of Johnny Depp (another one of my favorite actors) who also doesnt care about the “H’wood establishment” and about looking perfect and prim and proper all the time, he does what he wants, when he wants, and he stays true to himself and he is ALWAYS kind to his fans. Thats who Rob reminds me of…Johnny Depp…and i hope he has a lasting career like his as well.

I just think that this was an important event when you gotta put some effort, because is part of your job. I agree with what you said in one of your posts, that this was an “event” and that he should’ve put some effort into what he looks like, but like you and i have said, the reason that we are fans of his is because he doesnt really follow the rules about things like that, he just does things that feel good for him and he’s following his own heart and his own beat. And good for him, right? Thats why we like him. So even though this was an “event” he probably just went to see what its about, and not to be “seen” and low and behold someone snapped a pic of him, and you can tell that was the case, because he has his beanie hat on and then when they start snapping pics of him he takes it off, so its clear that he wasnt anticipating having his picture taken and maybe thats why he didnt go all out with the wardrobe. Although i feel that even if he knew that he was expected at an event, he still wouldnt dress up, LOL, thats just Rob, and thats why we like him.

Anyways…who cares what he has on or what he looks like, we like the guy for his talent, right? (at least i hope we do!).

^^Twilight seems to be huge here Steph. I actually got into it later than most people (August of last year, lol) and thats because i was in Europe vacationing and i got to see a sneak peak of Little Ashes (Rob’s new movie) and since i love Art, i thought oh this movie looks great and Rob was great in it, then when i got back to the States i was seeing a movie with a friend (who has read and was obsessed with Twilight) and during the previews they showed a teaser trailer for Twilight, so i started to say “Oh my that looks like the guy thats doing Dali” but my friend was like “thats Edward Cullen!” LOL.

Needless to say i read the books and fell in love with them, they are addicting for sure. Then i got my co-workers all addicted to it. lol. We’ve all read them and we all went to see the movie, it was great. Cant wait for New Moon!

So even though i was a “late bloomer” when it came to the books, i know for sure that the whole country knew about the movie being released. They had the cast and news on the movie and its stars on almost all of the entertainment shows here.

So yea, i would say its a big deal in the US.

The look of rob in the film is similar to salvador dali but he was more thin, but is good.

^^Hi Maria, i agree with you. I’ve seen Dali’s paintings and i’ve come across him in an art class i took in college, its very interesting. I just bought a book on Dali this past weekend, its the biography book that Rob used (he read) in order to prepare for his role as Dali.

I honestly cant wait to see what kind of reviews and comments he’s going to get from this movie (Little Ashes). God knows he is REALLY REALLY GOOD in it. I hope more people get a chance to see him and see that he’s a talented young man that can have a career full of diverse roles.

bueno pues si sabeis algo de español, bueno es saberlo. i was in arizona last summer, in tucson but i was in airport of phoenix too and when i read the book i said woow i was there and his highway too.when i went to grand canyon. i liked very much. I born in seville, a city of south of spain.it´s very hot, too than arizona.I love picasso too. i saw his paintings in the museum and other exposition in madrid city. There are here a lot of museun of paintings and exposition too.a few years ago i saw the xiam warriors,of terracotta(the fist time that go from china).more interesting. I wish that “little ashes” are a good film and rob to make more and more films to us. Bye bye. ADIOS.

I envy you so much! Im stuck here practicaly all the time… (czech rep.) I always loved to travel, but specially since ive started studying medicine i barely take a step out of the country. My family (Doctors) always told me, that ill have a time later, that ill have enough money later and will fullfil my dreams of that kind later… but i dont want to do it later!:) i want travel now! while im young and while i dont have to worry about a thing!
The further ive been is Gran Canaria island for vacation:)… that really pisses me off! I mean sure, ive been in other places, lived a while in Spain (Barcelona, Tarragona) and in Hungary (Budapest) and it was great, beautiful and everything but I WANT MORE!:D i wanna see the world… lastly im thinking about US (partly because of the movie – wonderful nature there!) and than there is my life long dream of south America… that would be spectacular!:)

The medicine is a speciality very hard.You can!!!!.WOOOOW.I liked to go to the usa because i wait to find a shooting in the street(same the films)i had fear. and rejection from the people because i don´t speak english very well and much people asked me if i was mexican. But the people that i find was very kind with me. but my favourite questions in arizona was”do you speak spanish?”. I had fear too in republic dominican but are a country insecure but the people are very kind too.The canary island are a beatiful place with a temperature extraordinary, i was last summer, too, in july and usa in august.

Maria, i think that mention about the hair was about when they were filming Twilight. Before they started filming Twilight, thats what they had in mind, that Edward should have long hair (a wig) but of course that didnt happen. (And Thank god for that one! lol).

Vicky Cristina Barcelona was one of the best movies of the year for sure… specially for those of us who have been there:) Bardem is godlike in the role and theres a this unique mixture of Allen and tipical spanish movies

the film´s settings are beautiful. and he chose the oviedo city in the film because there are a statue of him in a street of these city.

Tomas Im going to medical school too. And you know, you should travel whenever you have a chance because , medicine, its like you give your entire life to it, you would never have time because once you get in to work you would need to take courses, you know, they keep discovering stuff, so you need to be updating your knowledge and all of that, its gonna be very hard. You just find a brake, summer is great for that, and take a plane to a near city, then keep doing it farer and farer, you even gonna get those bonus on the airlines, its cool.

You know what, its amazing that I can find people from other countries here, i thought that there was gonna be just people from US.

And steph, I know what it´s like being just from bed to school, and again and again,
I have to go to school in the morning and then to other school at, lets say, 6-9,
it´s very exhausting, but at the end of the day, everything´s worth the effort.

Si, el español es mi 1 lengua, escribo y hablo un poco en ingles.porque entenderlo es un poco mas dificil, sobre todo el ingles americano, cambian un poco las pronunciaciones.Well i want to say today a question. Robert pattinson is very modest, he said in a interview that “he have to prove that he is a good actor” i think that james dean only have to make 3 films to be a SUPER STAR, and twilight isn´t “rebel without a cause” but is good, too. and he make a good impression to much people.i think that is a more better romantic film of last years, without sex,pure romanticism. It´s beautiful. there are people that think that the film is a trash teeneger, these people only think in action film or independent film but i need films that i can to dream. it´s necessary in the life, the dreams.There are people to say that the special effects aren´t good, but the film isn´t TRANSFORMER, i like the film that it is.

My country (Czech republic) is a small one in the east part of central Europe or you could say (as a great part of us really likes to do! ) in the heart of Europe. We are better known as Repubic of Czechoslovakia, democracy since 1989 after velvet revolution. We are actually to separate and independent states since 1993 – Czech and Slovak but its a common mistake of western society:) (my father is Czech and mother Slovak so im really Czechoslovak so i dont mind at all there are to quite similar lenguages, well practically same for us who lived while we were united, younger kids already dont understand each other which amuses us older ones)
We are known for Prague, great beer (we are first at drinking it in whole the world… Something about 180 liters for a person in year counting newborns ) and then some other things like great hockey players – many of them playing in NHL (Jagr), writer Franz Kafka, Director Milos Forman (cockoos nest, amadeus), our former president Vaclav Havel (worldwide authority), some famous composers (Dvorak, Smetana) and many many others Oh, and we are in the chair of EU for a half year.

Yea… i was born 1985. its silly and pretty how most of people who have some younger sibling call them “little” even when they arent little at all anymore:) (I have a 3years younger brother, he is maybe 10cm/4inches taller and 10kg/20lb heavier than me, but i still call him my little brother )
