Kellan Lutz in ‘Cedars of Lebanon’

Kellan Lutz is up for another project!! The movie is titled ‘Cedars of Lebanon!’

He’s been in the Emmy-winning series Generation Kill, the Twilight saga, and now Kellan Lutz will appear in Cedars of Lebanon.

According to The Wrap, Lutz has just recently signed on for the film – which will mark the directorial debut of Bradley Gregg – as one “of two brothers who are largely abandoned by their father and forced to grow up by themselves.” Cinema Blend is referring to the film as a “family drama.”

Gregg’s company, Eventide Fields, is recounting the storyline as follows:
“Cedars of Lebanon” is a bittersweet tale of redemption, the story of Barry Deutchman’s ride upon the wave of his narcissistic father’s abandonment. Growing up in the San Fernando Valley during the 70′s, this latch key kid struggles to thrive and grow where he is planted…atop very shallow roots. Forced to take care of his desperate single mother and angry younger brother…all while trying to heal his own wounded heart …

**OK, I don’t know why the movie is title ‘Cedars of Lebanon’ where it has nothing to do with MY COUNTRY Lebanon!!! :P I thought they’d shoot here in Lebanon or something!! lol! Well, I hoped so!

    LOl! I’m lebanese too! I lived in france but I just moved in lebanon like 3 months ago to go to university. Wow I didn’t know you are lebanese. I love this country! I really thought when I read the title that the action woud take place here but no! What a shame! That would have been so cool!

    Well it was ok. I actually didn’t really like it so much because it was like big you know, like a blockbuster but thes special effects and all are just amasing!

    Yeah sure, this is such a thing! I mean wow it is really big! I could not believe it because yesterday I called every cinema and they were all full! For every seance: at 2pm, 5pm,7pm,10pm,..everything was full! This is wow!

    Really? I think it is gonna be ok because yesterday you know it was the first day so…of course there were lots of people but I think tomorrow it will be a lot easier.
    And anyway, in the worst case you come like 2 hours before and you take the seats and then you shop a bit and…it’s cool!

    When did you try to call them? Because there is nobody befor like 3 pm or something. Maybe they can’t answer because there is a lot of people or a lot of calls.
