About.com made an interview with Catherine Hardwicke in the premiere of ‘Sex Drive’.

At the premiere of Summit Entertainment’s Sex Drive, Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke revealed she’s just putting the finishing touches on what’s easily one of the most anticipated movies of 2008.

I’m a huge Twilight fan so tell me how you’re going to please me.
Catherine Hardwicke: “Okay, first, I am a huge Twilight fan. I love the book. I just got totally swept away in this great obsessive love story, so I wanted to feel that when I watched the movie. I wanted to take all the cool things that we love in the book and then make them even more visual, more physical because of course it’s not the same as reading a book. So we just tried to bring it alive and make it like cinematically stunning for you guys.”
