As you all saw and heard, a massive 7.0 earthquake took place in Haiti and led to many deaths and destruction!! Ashley Greene, Justin Chon and many others tweeted to encourage their followers to send aid to the devastated nation!! God bless Haiti and give its residents courage and patience!!! :’( 
Ashley Greene tweeted, “Text ‘Haiti’ to 90999 to send $10 to the Red Cross for their relief fund. Please do whatever you can in this time of crisis.”
Justin Chon added, “And if you can spare it text “HAITI” to 90999 and a donation of $10 to American Red Cross will automatically be added to your phone bill.”
“If u have fam/friends n Haiti, I am sending much luv 2 u rite now,” Tyra Banks tweeted. “Phones r down n i know it is beyond hard 2 not reach your loved ones. My thoughts are still with all those suffering in Haiti during this major catastrophe.” …

Eclipse director, David Slade tweeted today about the movie:
Still we have 200 days to go.
Jacob & Bella are matching with intensity, & it’s all even with the action sequences. Right now we are in a great state of balance.
As we cut. Edward seems to be a really strong presence, the intensity of the love story & rivalry between Jacob is in the driving seat.
Been quite a week, we almost have our composer, all fingers crossed for some great news soon.
Wolf reviews today, looking better & better. The Eclipse story and they way we approached the film calls for a much more realistic approach.

“New Moon” star Peter Facinelli may drink the blood of helpless fuzzy creatures in his role as patriarch of the Cullen clan, but in real life he’s more interested in saving them. Or at least just making friends with them. The headline above doesn’t lie. Facinelli shakes hands with a penguin in the pic after the jump. A cute, fuzzy penguin. And to the penguin’s credit, it manages to keep itself together, even in the presence of a much-loved “Twilight” star. Maybe it’s just crapping its pants (fur?) because it knows what those Cullen people are capable of.
