Extra TV has posted its list of ‘Most Desirable Male Characters of 2009‘ which Edward Cullen & Jacob Black topped respectively!!

1. Edward Cullen:

America’s favorite vampire, played by Robert Pattinson, returned to the big screen in “New Moon,” where his chiseled face and serious manner made Twi-hard fans wild.

2. Jacob Black:

Werewolf Jacob, played by Taylor Lautner, caused fans to switch from Team Edward to Team Jacob after packing on 30 pounds of muscle — and staying shirtless throughout “New Moon.”

MTV News caught up with some fans after a midnight screening of New Moon in New York City to let them express how they felt about the movie! And it looks like they only loved Taylor Lautner’s muscles!

The big story this weekend may not only be about how awesome “New Moon” is — there will probably be a lot of talk about Taylor Lautner’s new bulked-up physique. Some fans have even said that the muscles are a game-changer, and have switched their allegiances from Team Edward to Team Jacob.

“Amazing! Let me tell you, I think that was probably the best part of the movie — seeing him half-naked the whole time,” Stephanie told MTV News after catching a midnight screening of “New Moon” in New York City.

Other fans not only loved the muscles, but also Jacob’s new shorter ‘do in the movie. …

E! Online caught up with Jimmy Kimmel and asked him on what side of New Moon he’s in, Team Edward or Team Jacob. So check out what he said.

Ever feel like you’re alone in your undying adoration of all things Twilight?

Probably not, but if it’s any consolation funnyman Jimmy Kimmel is right there with you.

Last Friday, the late-night host welcomed the New Moon crew to his show, and encountered a dilemma each of us faces all too often: Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner? Or better yet, Edward or Jacob?

“They’re very good looking people,” he told E! News at the International Myeloma Foundation charity event. “They’re vampires—one of them is a werewolf. You don’t see that too much.”

So, which is it? Kimmel’s not picking sides (smart move!). “I think it’s racist to pick between vampires and werewolves,” the star teased. “So, I’ll say that I love all monsters equally.”

“Monsters” seems a bit strong. We prefer to call them “sexy beasts.”
