In a new interview with Risky Business Blog, Robert Pattinson talks about “Remember Me”, upcoming installments in “The Twilight Saga” and fame after “Twilight”.

normal_028If there’s a good script I don’t care who the director is that is attached.
I like the most random scripts and I am really close friends with my agent. She really gets me and knows my taste. Occasionally she’ll say, “I’ve got this really awful script but maybe you should read it anyway,” and I look at a page and agree with her. I barely ever like scripts actually. After I did “Twilight,” I really wanted to work but just didn’t see a script I liked. I ended up doing nothing for a whole year. It was frustrating.

From E! Online.

R.Pattz’s acting was awful in Twilight, so I really wonder about Little Ashes. Have you read any reviews? Is it any good at all? Thanks.
—ilariacapasso, via Twitter

Critics remain way underwhelmed by Robert Pattinson’s channeling of artist Salvador Dalí in Little Ashes. Call it a lack of—tee hee—sparkle. A few were impressed—the London Daily Express calls Pattinson’s take “a spirited performance.” But most agree with MTV’s Kurt Loder, who says, “As soon as Pattinson steps forth with Dalí’s famous up-twirled mustaches pasted to his face, the picture collapses.”

Well, meow to you, too.

That isn’t necessarily bad news for Pattinson fans, however, especially if you’re open to a long-term love affair…
Despite the mixed reviews, veteran casting directors are calling Pattinson’s choice in films brilliant, especially if he wants a long career.

Maxim, from the UK distributor of “How To Be”, send to us some info on the DVD/iTunes release on 18th May!

TWILIGHT sensation Robert Pattinson stars in the new, quirky, offbeat, post teen-life crisis comedy HOW TO BE (15); available to buy for the first time on DVD on 18th May 2009, RRP £14.99 and also via iTunes, RRP £9.99.

Art (Robert Pattinson) sees himself as an enigmatic artiste. But he realises that he must take action if he is to prevent himself from wallowing and sinking deeper into his angst-ridden life as a struggling and disillusioned musician in London. A solution comes in the shape of a book titled “It’s Not Your Fault”. Not content to just draw inspiration from the printed words, however, Art invites the elderly author of the book to come and live with him and his dysfunctional parents…

HOW TO BE is a surreal and comedic journey about growing up and a wry look at the increasingly common phenomena of the twenty-something generation premature crisis in life, frustrated creativity and the lucrative world of self-help. Directed by Oliver Irving from his own screenplay, with contributions from his friends Johnny White and Joe Hastings (also the composer of the music in the film); HOW TO BE is a whimsical relationship comedy that is sure to generate laughs and cringes in equal measure.

Special Features:
•Extended Scenes (26 mins.)
•How to Make “How To Be” featurette (20 mins.)
•Audio commentary with director Oliver Irving, Mike Pearce (Nikki), Johnny White (Ronny) and Joe Hastings (composer)

Don’t worry! He’s was kidding, I think. LOL…

NewMoonMovie.org has the translation of an interview that Robert Pattinson had with the Spanish newspaper El Pasi. Check it out:

R.P. The worst part of it is that they are not romantic at all, they are super traumatic. Instead of excitement you feel pity for both of them [laughs]. All of it was very uncomfortable, not only because the first scene Javier [Beltran, who plays Lorca] and I shot happened only one day after we met, but also because we had no privacy while shooting them, we were surrounded by technicians who were speaking in Spanish, a language I didn’t understand, and they were giggling at us.

EP3. Who is a better kisser, Javier or Kristen [Stewart, his lover in Twilight]?

R.P. Definitely, Javier [laughs]

Robert Pattinson talks fame and Little Ashes in an interview with Guardian.

002There are always fans waiting outside the hotel but he tries not to think about the phenomenal level of fame he’s reached in north America; he says he’d go mad if he did. So he tries to disguise himself: “But instead I’m just getting more and more conspicuous; I’m wearing two hoods, a hat and sunglasses, which kind of stands out in the middle of the night. So I’m learning to sprint.”

At times Pattinson sounds grown-up, but he also lapses into adolescent silliness. Ask if he has a fake hotel name and the giggling starts: “I was Clive Handjob in Paris. Everyone in the hotel called me ‘Monsieur Handjob’. That was good, cheap fun.”

In an interview with Fandango, Robert Pattinson talks about fame, “Memoirs” and how it is to play Salvador Dalí,.

005Dalí was a famed surrealist and no doubt you’ve had your share of surreal experiences in the last few months – like fans screaming over cardboard cutouts of you at the video store.

I know! I was in a Blockbuster on the day it was being released. I had forgotten it was being released that day. There were two families who had come with eight- or nine-year old-daughters to get their DVD. They were standing in the line crying and I stood watching what all this commotion was about. They didn’t know I was there or anything. I was just thinking “Wow, you’re crying about a DVD.” It’s fascinating.
