“The Apparition” is getting plenty of buzz because it will be a crossover of two of the biggest teen franchises around: “Harry Potter” and “The Twilight Saga.” Add that to the fact Sebastian Stan is from cult teen TV series “Gossip Girl” and you’ve got what seems to be a perfect cocktail for the teen demographic’s box office dollars, despite the fact “The Apparition” is described somewhere between a mystery and a thriller.

“It gives me great, great pleasure to not only be a part of a great project but also to be working with such exciting new talent,” Tom told MTV News. “It’s to be part of that, really, hopefully, to be featured among that young talent.”

“She seems like a very, really positive, very, very friendly young lady, in no way at all ‘Hollywood’,” Tom said. “You know, I didn’t have any expectations. In no way is she a diva or anything like that. She’s a lovely girl and clearly extremely talented, which excites me to be working with such great young talent.”

The New Moon star has landed yet another muscles-required role, this time that of action hero Stretch Armstrong in an upcoming Universal film based on the Hasbro toy.

Which, by the way, will be shot with that snazzy new 3-D technology.

“In the past two years, Taylor has emerged as a real star at the global box office,” says Universal Pictures cochair Donna Langley. “He brings the perfect balance of energy and athleticism to the role of an unlikely super hero with a fantastic super power. During the fest we spoke with Kristen about “Welcome to the Rileys,” a teen-stripper drama about a woman who has no options. And Stewart was eager to tell us that people who have their backs against the wall make for great stories — even for an actress who won’t let anybody back her into a corner.

Of course, Kristen unveiled a double-barreled attack at the festival, as she also premiered “The Runaways,” a 180-degree turn that had her portraying rocker Joan Jett. To some fans, the flicks were quickly abbreviated as “the stripper movie” and “the rock movie,” but Kristen told us there was much more going on.

“[The shocking thing is] maybe that it’s not, like, shocking,” Stewart answered when asked whether the movie will surprise her legions of devoted “Twilight” fans. “It’s really not a stripper movie at all.

“You never see me stripping,” she insisted, although reports are aplenty that Stewart spends much of the movie in various states of undress. “I think that it’s a really good story. Most ‘Twilight’ fans are young girls, and this is a really, really good story for them.”

On Saturday afternoon, Kristen Stewart slipped into the Racquet Club Theater here unnoticed by paparazzi or a throng of salivating fans – at least two of whom had paid $2,000 for tickets on eBay — into the world premiere of her gritty family drama “Welcome to the Rileys.” So low-key was the “New Moon Saga” phenom, she passed from her SUV to the movie’s red carpet line without raising the suspicion of the mob desperately searching for any vestige of her.

The actress seemed visibly recalcitrant on the “Runaways” red carpet at the Eccles Theater, answering no more than two questions per camera crew (and addressing the print reporter scrum for only a meager four minutes). As well, Stewart emanated her signature ambivalence toward stardom, biting her lip and running her hands through her hair in the face of many questions about getting in character as Jett, who co-founded the all-girl rock band in 1975.

“I talked to her all the time,” Stewart said of Jett on the carpet, appearing decidedly punk in an unzipped black hoodie, t-shirt and jeans. “To tell you what it was about would be me summing up for a soundbyte. And I don’t want to do that.”

She paused, knitted her brow and then continued.

“She’s incredibly outspoken and embodies freedom in every way,” Stewart said. “It wasn’t easy for me to get there.

In addition to highlighting the star George Clooney as the character Mikael Blomkvist, the actress who will interpret the Lisbeth Salander has no name.

Well, Kristen Stewart, Bella of the Twilight series, is listed to play the hacker in the trilogy Millennium. Kristen, like Clooney, is considered the only option of Sony, which already holds the rights to adapt.
