I don’t know if  it is a joke or not… but I thought it was interesting to post:

We all knew Madonna was interested in defying her age and staying young forever, but who knew she was secretly a tween? Oh No They Didn’t is reporting a rumor that Madonna is interested in being part of the Twilight sequel New Moon– and may even wind up acting in it.

Being no Twilight expert myself, I have no idea what kind of role there might be for Madonna. Do terrifyingly fit 50-year-old rock stars have a home somewhere in Forks, Washington? It’s also possible that Madonna would just contribute to the soundtrack, which, you know, whatever. But its’ the prospect of Madonna actually being in the movie, even though I’m not even excited about the movie itself, that worries me.

According with orlandosentinel.com, Kristen will presenter the Oscar on Sunday, and Robert is a maybe.

Queen Latifah will bring her chanteuse stylings to the In Memoriam portion of the Oscars telecast. She’ll sing that WWII era classic, “I’ll be Seeing You.” You knew they’d do something special with Paul Newman passing last year.
Hitflix also says the Twilight stars, Robert Pattinson (Maaaaybe) and Kristen Stewart will be presenters. And of course, Hugh Jackman is hosting. Next Sunday night.

Twilight may not be nominated for any Oscars, but that doesn’t mean the movie won’t be a part of Hollywood’s biggest night on Feb. 22.

“I promise you, there will be a presence,” Laurence Mark, a first-time producer of this year’s Academy Awards, tells me. “You’ll see. I promise there is and on more than one occasion.”

If Twilight doesn’t give Mark and his co-producer Bill Condon a huge jump in the ratings, we can’t imagine what would.

The Internet rumors that new screen heartthrob Robert Pattinson (“Twilight”) would follow Radcliffe’s role on “Equus”.

It wasn’t the most preposterous of ideas — Pattinson appeared alongside Radcliffe in two of the “Harry Potter” movies. But Pugh told Variety that won’t happen. He has, however, confirmed that he and Pattinson will be working together on a theater project in 2010. More than that he won’t say.

The British actor – known for playing vampire Edward Cullen in the recent Twilight movie – will appear in the mag’s April issue as part of their “What’s Hot in 2009” section, reports Celebuzz.

“For sure April,” a source tells the website.

A rep for publisher Conde Nast says, “We do not confirm or comment about upcoming issues before they have been completed or closed.”

Pattinson, 22, recently insisted his new-found fame hasn’t changed him.

“I haven’t changed at all,” Pattinson said. “I live the same exact life as before; I have the same friends and the same preferences…I would still rather eat fast food than tofu; I’m a lousy driver, and I always have problems with my junky 1989 BMW.

“I [still] don’t make that much [money]. And to tell you the truth, I’d like more.”

Pattinson reprises his role as Cullen in Twilight sequel New Moon, which is due for release later this year.

We hear from inside sources (take note, designers!) that the calls went out to Keira Knightley, Kate Beckinsale, Reese Withersoon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kristen Stewart, and Jennifer Aniston. Granted, the odds of the Marley and Me star presenting at the Kodak Theater with Brangelina gazing on are, admittedly, slim.

According with E! Dakota Fanning is in talks to play Jane in New Moon:

Dakota Fanning…with fangs?

It’s possible. I can exclusively report that the 14-year-old child star—she turns 15 on Feb. 23—is in talks to play Jane opposite Robert Pattinson & Co. in New Moon, the upcoming sequel to box office megahit Twilight.

“There were no auditions,” a source reveals. “They just offered it to her outright, and now they’re in negotiations. They’ve been going back and forth.”

Jane is a member of Italy’s Volturi, the most deadly group of bloodsucking killers in author Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling series.

In the casting notice we got our hands on earlier this month, Jane is described as a petite blonde with a “Botticelli angel-like face…[and] crimson irises.” While fellow Volturi guards Demetri & Felix “are three times the size of her, they are terrified of her,” the casting notice reads.

Thats the newest rumor flying around the Hollywood air. The two were seen dining together at  Arnie Morton’s Steakhouse in Burbank, California on Friday, January 16. This wasn’t the first time they were seen together, either. October of last year, the same rumor sparked an interest with both actors denning it.

However, McCord has insisted they are not an item. “I don’t have a boyfriend,” she told the press recently. “I know it’s a funny thing. He and his costar Ashley [Greene] and I have the same agency [Innovative Artists] so we did some events in Miami together. We had a really great time.”

So far the US release date for Twilight is set for Valentine’s Day (Sat, Feb. 14th) or March 21st. (No date has been confirmed yet. These are just rumors.) You can pre-order the dvd at FYE and Amazon. The dvd will cost $19.99 and the two disk special edition dvd will cost $22.99. I can’t wait! We will let you know the true date when it confirmed by Summit.
