Chris Weitz defended Samantha Tumpach, a woman who tried to videotape a TINY part of New Moon. :) That’s SO nice of him!

Chicago woman facing prison time for videotaping three minutes of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” has a new ally in her legal battle — the film’s director.

Veteran director Chris Weitz told the Sun-Times he’s dismayed about Samantha Tumpach’s arrest Nov. 28 at a Rosemont movie theater on a felony charge of illegally copying his new hit film, and he’s contacted the film’s studio about his concerns.

“Needless to say, the case seems to me terribly unfair and I would like to do what I can to address this,” Weitz wrote in an e-mail.The 22-year-old Tumpach could …

Watch out guys, if you’re receiving e-mails regarding Breaking Dawn’s casting, it’s FAKE!! Scam!

Twilight-Twitter-500x332Twilight fans have blown the lid off of a scam preying on devoted followers of the Twilight film franchise. Bogus e-mails announcing fake casting calls for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — the potential fourth film in the wildly-popular saga — have been popping up on Twilight fansites and in the inboxes of Twi-Hards all of the country in recent weeks, according to The Casting Scoop.

The e-mails encourage applicants interested in walk-on parts and role as extras in the next Twilight film to apply immediately, promising pay ranges from $80-250 after forking over a “registration fee” to a casting website.

“First of all, I knew it wasn’t credible because ‘Breaking Dawn’ doesn’t go into production for several months, so no casting director would have been hired yet,” says Casting Director Lana Veenker, who handled Northwest casting on the first Twilight film. “Also, the shoot location hasn’t even been announced! How would anyone even know which city or country to be casting in?”

Aww! That’s soo nice of him! Kellan Lutz adopted a new dog!! :)

RWP-003573Film hunk Kellan Lutz showed off his softer side when revealing to Us Weakly at the Art of Progress event in Miami on Monday, November 30 that he has just adopted a dog. “I found a stray on the street. He’s like a little Chihuahua that all the neighbors were into,” he said about the dog, whom he names Kevin.

When asked on how he finds Kevin, the Emmett Cullen of “Twilight” recalled, “I don’t know why, but he just lay on the street and acted dead and all these cars drove around him.” He then added, “I’m going home to Arizona, which I only get to do once a year. So I’m taking him to Arizona, too.”

Okay, so many rumors have been floating online that Breaking Dawn would be made into 2 movies and MTV posted an article concerning that rumor!! So, nothing’s official, hope it’s not true, I’d Breaking Dawn in one movie cuz I can’t wait another year for the other part to come out :S So let it be a 3 hours and a half movie like Lord of the Rings ;) By the way, this is MY OWN OPINION, not the site’s or anyone else’s. Anything I post with an opinion in it then it’s my point of view :)

Summit Entertainment might have been listening — that or they’re thrilled with the impressive box-office take of “New Moon” in its first two weeks. According to a report in Variety, the “Breaking Dawn” gig is Weitz’s if he wants it, though no official offer has been made. What’s more, it might actually turn out to be two gigs. As has long been rumored, sources told Variety that Summit plans to split the final book into two separate movies, to be shot back to back.

Both films would likely be scripted by Melissa Rosenberg, who has penned the first three adaptations in the franchise. Meyer must first approve the two-movie decision.

One of the key impediments in making two “Breaking Dawn” flicks is that Summit would have to reopen negotiations with Stewart and co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, who are signed up for only four films. Following the two-week, $231 million domestic haul of “New Moon,” the stars could command payment in the eight-figure range, according to Variety. …
