New Moon director Chris Weitz says he hasn’t seen any of ‘Eclipse’s footage yet.

With filming on “Eclipse” wrapping up, we couldn’t resist asking “New Moon” director Chris Weitz whether he had seen any of the footage from next summer’s blockbuster. He hadn’t, he said, because he’s been busy working hard to bring fans “New Moon,” which hits theaters in less than a month. Surprisingly, he said he didn’t really want to see the footage yet.

“As a fan and a filmmaker, I’m excited to see finished stuff from ‘Eclipse‘ rather than anything in progress,” Weitz said. “When you see works in progress, there’s always some guy standing in front of some big green curtain, and it’s all terribly disappointing. You really want to see the good stuff once it’s all finished.” …

LimeLife: Julia, you’ve just played this amazing role in Eclipse and we can’t wait to hear about it. First though, can you tell us from where else we might know you?

Julia Jones: Probably the most notable thing was that I did a recurring role on ER. I appeared in their final season [as Dr. Kaya Montoya], so it was pretty cool to be a part of something that great and large as it was closing. Everybody was appreciating it, so it was a good time to be involved.

Ashley Greene tweeted on october 23th “Guys I can’t believe we’re almost done filming ECLIPSE! How crazy is that?!” and a day later (yesterday) she was seen at the airport with co-star Kellan Lutz so I guess this means Eclipse filming is done.

Next week they will start the promotion tour for New Moon! Are you excited for New Moon?

MTV caught up with Jackson Rathbone last week while he was on the set of his new movie ‘Girlfriend‘, and Jackson gave some details from his flashbacks scenes in Eclipse.

“It was just really fantastic to get to delve in there and to get to don all the Civil War regalia and whatnot. That was a pleasure,” he said. “I had to wear this wool suit of a major, cavalry major. “I got the big hat and everything. Hop off the horse, bow to these ladies, and then I get eaten. And then I get turned!”

There will also be flashbacks of Jasper training newborn vampires while he’s still “a bad dude, a bad vampire,” Rathbone said. He added that training from another film, “The Last Airbender,” including wrestling, hand-to-hand combat and weapon play, was useful since there wasn’t much time to prepare for the fight scenes in “Eclipse.” But Rathbone was quick to clarify none of the vampires’ combat scenes would be martial art-y.

David Slade (Eclipse director) has posted a new picture of Bella’s truck on his Twitter he also mentions about being almost done filming Eclipse!!!! How exciting is that?!

Just one week and a few days to go to complete principle photography, the finish line seems still so far.

Shooting first day in the Cullen house, its the first day we managed to shoot more than our schedule.

Kirsten Prout, a 19-year-old Vancouver native has been casted as Lucy, who is apart of Jasper’s backstory in the Eclipse movie. You might recognize her from her role as Amanda on the ABC Family’s original series, Kyle XY.

Muse are apparently fully embracing their status as the “Twilight” band. They’ve already had their track “Supermassive Black Hole” on the first film’s soundtrack, and come Friday, Twilighters can get their hands on the “New Moon” soundtrack, which features the group’s remixed track “I Belong to You.”

Nothing is set in stone yet, but Howard noted that besides being a favorite of “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer, they also have an in with “Eclipse” director David Slade.

“[Slade is] kind of a friend of ours ’cause he directed about three or four of our videos for the second album, and he’s a really great video director,” Howard explained.

Vanity Fair got the chance to sit down with Ashley Greene for an interview on the set of “Eclipse”. She talks about the scene they shot the day she was interviewed, how her character develops through the saga and much more.

Direct from the set of Twilight: Eclipse, VF.com caught up with Ashley Greene (aka “Alice Cullen” in the Twilight saga) to discuss filming the upcoming New Moon, cast reunions, and how becoming a vampire has changed her life.

VF.com: So you’re in Vancouver right now on the set of Eclipse …

Ashley Greene: I am. I just got to set! It’s an hour drive every day, really pretty; we’re way out in the middle of nowhere.

What are you filming today?

There’s a lot of action in this [movie], a lot of fight-sequence choreography. Me, Nikki [Reed], and Kellan [Lutz] are working today, and we’re doing another installment of the fight sequences. We’re doing a section of the huge vampire/Cullen/wolf/newborn battle.

What’s it like working with different directors on the same character?

At first, it’s a little difficult; it’s a lot of give and take. Everyone’s different and has their own take on it, but it’s been pretty good. You have to sit down and go, “This is what I’ve been doing, this is why I feel this way,” and you have to take suggestions. Basically, it’s about communication, and it hasn’t been a problem yet.
