MTV posted a little article and video about the 2009 Toy Fair.

We’ve already mentioned films like “Terminator Salvation” and “Watchmen” came to Toy Fair — the toy industry’s annual convention — but if there was one flick that made its presence known, it was “Twilight.” From t-shirts and tote bags to jewelry and figures, every bit of upcoming “Twilight” merchandise you could think of was on display for our cameras.

We were there of course, and we’ll be bringing you full coverage of everything “Twilight” at the show. Below, watch our video interview with NECA about their upcoming “Twilight” products, which basically includes everything under the sun, including a sparkly Edward Cullen.

Everyone loves to get those cute little heart candies for Valentine’s. You know the ones with all the cute saying like “Kiss me”. How would you like them to say “Bite me”?! NECCO Sweets are making us Twilight candy!!! Read the article below for more info.

New England Confectionery Co.’s Sweethearts Conversation Hearts are going from “I Love You” and “Marry Me” to “Bite Me.”

The Revere candy company wants to make the 143-year-old line more relevant to teens and tweens with a tie-in to the popular “Twilight” film based on the best-selling vampire romance novels.

NECCO will release softer, sparkling versions of the pastel sugar hearts in March, when the film is released on DVD. The printed messages will include “Bite Me,” “Secret” and “Soul Mate,” and flavors such as “orange obsession” and “tempting apple.” More Sweethearts will hit stores for the November release of the “New Moon” sequel.

That’s right! Twilight has until now a list with 52 mistakes of continuity, plot hole, visible crew/equipment and others . The extensive list came from Movie Mistakes. Check it out!
**Please don’t get me wrong, I still think it’s an amazing movie and that’s just for fun. :?:

Continuity: As Bella and Edward arrive to the baseball field, they pull up in the SUV, then walk along what seems to be a river’s edge, with a tall waterfall in the background. You never see the waterfall during the baseball game, and when they leave the field and walk to the SUV, the SUV is parked practically on the field, a few steps away from where they are standing.

Continuity: In the scene where Bella is looking at Edward across the parking lot after finding out he’s a vampire, she is looking at him and walking towards him. When the shot is on him, he is standing in front of the stairs/ramp, but when he turns to follow her into the woods, he is standing across from the stairs/ramp.

Continuity: When Bella is sitting with Edward near the lake asking his questions about his family and whether they have abilities like Edward’s mind-reading, her woolen mittens jump from her hands to her lap.

Other: When Bella is in the hospital, her left leg is the broken one. [While lying in the bed, her left leg is the one under the blankets, obviously in a cast; while her right leg is bent and her knee is sticking from under the covers.] But when she and Edward go to prom, the cast is on the right leg.

Other: When Bella gets out of the car after Port Angeles she leaves her purse and goes home with her father. When she is at home she then has the book she bought at the store and put in her purse that she left in Edward’s car.

These interactive posters are part of an international promotion for ‘Twilight.’ They were placed in Sao Paulo subways in honor of the release of ‘Twilight’ in Brazil.

The subway installation featured animated videos of ‘Twilight’ characters like Robert Pattinson’s Edward, entertaining content, a touch-screen interface, and the option to have additional contact sent to passengers’ mobile phones via Bluetooth.

Today’s Celebrity Addictionary word of the day is Pattronize. You could look it up. It’s a verb that means “to humor one’s Twilight-obsessed friends” who are all gaga over grungy-hunk, sensitive-vampire-dude Robert Pattinson.

Hypothetically, we might be tempted to say something like “Twilight is a cheese-rageous bit of campy fluff designed to fleece tween girls of their allowance money.” But because we’re wary of raising the vamp ire of all the fanggirls out there, instead we say something like “It’s a fun little preteen, chick-flick thrill ride.” Did that sound Pattronizing? Oh, we didn’t mean it that way.

If you don’t like our word, you can make up your own or browse for other cool coinages. Because that’s how the Celebrity Addictionary rolls.
