So, I know many of you are still deciding what you want to be for Halloween. How about you dress up as Jane from the Volturi. Below are two articles telling you how to do so!

From MTV’s Hollywood Crush – The Outfit:

To recreate Jane’s gothic school girl outfit, start with a black-long sleeve dress. We like Pink Rose’s Long-Sleeve Empire-Waist Dress on sale for $29 at Macy’s. To protect yourself from the sun’s glimmer-inducing rays, tie on a hooded cape, like this short version by Rubies for $9. But what is a vampire without a few choice accessories? Payless’ American Eagle Cherish Mary Jane Flat for $23 are stylish enough to wear the other 364 days of the year, while Hot Topic’s Volturi Crest Necklace for $20 will really tie the entire ensemble together.

From BellaSugar – The Makeup:

Shade eyelids with a dark gray eye shadow, being careful to keep it on the lids and crease only — not up at your brow line. Then, gently brush black shadow around the outer corner of the eyes; for a neater look, start outside and move toward your eyes. Line the upper and lower lashlines with a black soft pencil black eyeliner. Go all out with false lashes, or coat your own lashes with mascara.

The largest corn maze in Utah has been given a “New Moon” theme this year. More info and photos can be found on their website. Just click on the pic below for the full-sized version and see which one of the characters they’ve chosen to feature.

1731532SYRACUSE — The second “Twilight” movie is arriving early in northern Utah, sort of.
The theme of Utah’s largest corn maze this year is “New Moon,” the sequel in the popular Twilight saga.
Although the movie doesn’t arrive in theaters until Nov. 20, this 24-acre corn maze opens Sept. 24 and continues through Oct. 31.
Aerial photos show that two separate “Twilight”-themed maze patterns at Black Island Farms, 3178 S. 3000 West, have already been cut into the corn — a “Team Jacob” and a “Team Edward.” (In the movie, Bella can choose Edward or Jacob as her boyfriend.)
The lettering “New moon 11-20-09″ is also a part of the maze.

“Twilight In Forks” is a documentary about Forks (duh!) and will be released on DVD. MTV got the trailer (over here) and more information about the documentary (how vampires actually relate to Forks, they visit some of the set of the saga and more).

“One of the things that you’ll see in the film is how vampires actually relate to Forks, and whether there’s some truth to the characters that you’re familiar with,” explained director Jason Brown when he handed over the film’s hot-off-the-presses first trailer. “This teaser gives you a glimpse at that.”

Focusing on Forks, Washington — the real-life tiny logging town where Meyer imagined a world of vampires, werewolves and love-struck humans — “Twilight in Forks” visits Forks High School, explores the Quileute tribe, and investigates the phenomenon of Meyer’s saga by talking to people whose lives may have influenced the characters — or vice versa.

A few posts down we told you about the documentary about the real life town of Forks. MTV has an interview with the filmmakers who made the documentary about the real town of Forks during the Twilight phenomenon.

“The full title is ‘Twilight in Forks: The Saga of the Real Town,’ ” explained producer York Baur, revealing details exclusively to MTV about the soon-to-be-released flick, whose existence has remained a secret — until now. “It’s a documentary about the town and the impact of the ‘Twilight’ phenomenon on the town. It’s a DVD that is shot in full HD, and it’s going to be available to the public on October 15.”

One of the “bloggers” at Examiner recently posted a very interesting article about the CGI in “New Moon”. The article is focused mainly on the scenes in which Bella, in the movie adaption, will see an illusion of Edward when riding a dirt bike.

In this situation, Bella’s scene was shot weeks earlier and now Edward must be placed into the scene seamlessly. This means Mr. Pattinson must be in the perfect position, with the exact same lighting and the exact same camera angle as was used with Ms. Stewart. Every mathematical equation is used and computer controlled cameras are used to ensure that is exactly what happens.

Then the Visual Effects Department must marry the two (the two shots, not the two characters) into perfect alignment, erasing the entire green screen and placing Edward in Bella’s arms. To match this shot will take about 15 days of hard work from both cast and crew and, in the final film, will only have about 5 minutes of screen time.
