Check out this article that shows some of the cast’s thoughts of ‘New Moon‘ director Chris Weitz and who they think is best directing ‘Breaking Dawn‘.

Robert Pattinson would like to see Gus Van Sant handed the keys to the “Twilight” franchise for “Breaking Dawn,” the yet-unannounced adaptation of the final book in Stephenie Meyer’s vampire series. Co-star Jamie Campbell Bower favors the talents of Tim Burton for the gig.

New Moon” director Chris Weitz has also hinted he might plop back into the director’s chair for “Breaking Dawn,” and while all this talk is pure speculation at this point, we do know that the “New Moon” cast remains wildly supportive of Weitz.

“I really, really like Chris,” Pattinson said in an interview provided by “Twilight” studio Summit Entertainment. “He’s …

iesb.net has a new interview with The Volturi’s Michael Sheen, Dakota Fanning, Cameron Bright and Jamie Campbell Bower.

newmoon_logo_Q: Dakota, as such a fan of this series, what were the highlights of playing Jane?

Dakota: I think the highlight of playing Jane was getting to wear that costume and having the red contact lenses. I was really excited about that, and getting to play an evil character.

Q: Do you get to do more in Eclipse?

Dakota: It’s about the same. I’m still not very much in the movie.

Q: What did you think when you saw yourself for the first time with the red lenses in?

Dakota: It’s really scary. I think it makes anyone look automatically evil. It was really fun. You get used to them, after a while. You can see pretty good, but it’s still kind of weird.

Q: Michael, did it take you a while to come up with your voice in the film, or was that an instant thought when you read the script?

Michael: No, it was from Stephenie in the book. She describes Aro as having a voice like feathers, so that made me think about what would it sound like …

MoviesOnline.ca has a new interview with the Volturis, Michael Sheen, Jamie Campbell Bower, Dakota Fanning and Cameron Bright.

Q: Dakota, as such a fan of the series, you’ve said in many interviews before that you were really excited about this so what were the highlights of playing Jane and do you get to do more in the next movie?

Dakota Fanning: I think the highlight of playing Jane was getting to wear that costume and to have the red contact lenses — I was really excited about that – and getting to play an evil character. The next movie I already finished doing, Eclipse, and it’s about the same. It’s still not very much in the movie.

Q: What did you think when you saw yourself for the first time with the red lenses in?

Dakota Fanning: I know. It’s really scary. I think it makes anyone look automatically evil. But yeah, it was really fun. You get used to them after a while. You can see pretty good, but it’s still kind of weird.

In a recent interview, Jamie Campbell Bower talks about who he thinks is best directing Breaking Dawn.

Jamie Campbell Bower

Tim Burton digs supernatural stories: the goth-comic ghost tale of “Beetlejuice,” the headless killer from the great beyond in “Sleepy Hollow,” the undead love story of “Corpse Bride.” In a way, Burton knows vampires too, resurrecting Bela Lugosi — the definitive cinematic Count Dracula — in the Oscar-winning biopic “Ed Wood.”

All of this has made “New Moon” vampire Jamie Campbell Bower think that Burton should direct “Breaking Dawn,” the expected film adaptation of the final book in Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” series. …
