My AC meltdown is nothing compared to how much of a hyperventilating mess I’d be if I ever met one of my all time celebrity crushes: Robert Pattinson. (I’d like to give a shout out to my #2 crush: New England Patriots QB Tom Brady)

I haven’t met my celebrity crush yet, so I thought to myself, “What’s the next best thing?”

Get my hands on the Robert Pattinson/Edward Cullen doll of course! R-Pattz’s face already graces the bulletin board next to my desk, so it’s only fitting for me to add the Edward Cullen doll to my collection of Pattinson mementos.

Overall, I think the Edward Cullen doll looks great. It looks so much better than the constipated Edward dolls they were selling at Hot Topic. I can’t believe my co-worker, James Montgomery, was going to throw this collector’s item away! Just look at how excited I got when I first laid my eyes on the Edward doll!

twilight-jacob“Jacob’s character gets so cool. It is so more in-depth in the rest of the series. When he turns into a werewolf it is like he has two separate personalities. When he’s himself he’s this nice outgoing guy and when he goes werewolf on you he’s super intense and Bella’s just blown away like ‘what is with this freak now,’” Lautner said in the interview.

Lautner said he was unfamiliar with Stephenie Meyer’s mega-best-selling “Twilight” books until he tried out for the role.

“I had not even heard about ‘Twilight’ until I auditioned for it and then as soon as I was cast I was like, what am I getting myself into? I was blown away and so incredibly excited,” he said.

Lautner received a great deal of support from “Twilight” fans, which undoubtedly helped him keep the role. Now, the excitement continues for the young star – and the fans who love him as Jacob.

1232727282150x150Kristen Stewart is “really excited” about ‘New Moon’.

The actress says she can’t wait to reprise her role as Bella Swan in the sequel to hit vampire love story ‘Twilight’ but is stunned by how big the movie franchise has become.

She told MTV: “It’s such a machine now. All of a sudden, this movie has become something bigger.

“With all the expectations – usually, you make a movie and think, ‘If it touches people, great; if it doesn’t, then you move on to the next one, and no one’s personally affected by it.’ But everyone’s really sensitive with any changes right now.”

Following speculation that Taylor Lautner had been axed from his role as Jacob Black, the 18-year-old star said she was delighted he would be appearing in the sequel.

She added: “I’m so glad they didn’t have to find somebody else; we already had him.

“I didn’t understand all the deliberation on whether to bring him back. But now that it’s set, we can all rest.”

The Daily Beast posted a list of the stars who they think will be big in 2009 and they mention Cam and Taylor.

Some teen-TV fans may remember Cam as the guest character on The O.C. responsible for killing off Mischa Barton, but he’s going to be known for much more than Marissa-cide after this year. Cam has a whopping seven movies in production for 2009—and those are just the ones that have been officially announced. After his breakout role as a pale vampire in last fall’s Twilight, Cam will appear in Pandorum (a thriller about a spaceship with Dennis Quaid), Five Star Day (a coming of age story with Jena Malone), and Kid Cannabis (the true story of a 19-year-old millionaire pot dealer), among others.

After originating the role of Jacob Black in the original crazy successful teen-vampires-stare-and-brood Twilight, there was talk Taylor Lautner wouldn’t be cast in the sequel. Fortunately, the director was convinced and Lautner is bulking up to play the older role in the follow-up New Moon, which will be rushed into theaters this November. Robert Pattinson, watch your back. Teen girls, get your screaming pipes ready.

New Moon, due Nov. 20 and based on the second volume of the Twilight saga, expands upon a supernatural love triangle. While vampire Edward (Rob Pattinson) runs away to Italy to keep his mortal teen queen Bella (Kristen Stewart) out of danger from others of his kind, she makes time with the less-complicated Jacob (Taylor Lautner) as he finally reveals his hairier, scarier side.

Director Chris Weitz (The Golden Compass) picks up where Twilight’s Catherine Hardwicke left off on the production that starts shooting March 23. One of his first tasks on the sequel was deciding to keep Lautner, whose gangly Native American high-schooler in the first film transforms into a hulking giant over the course of the book series as he fulfills his tribe’s destiny.

“Taylor is a formidable guy, kind of a great tool in the toolbox,” Weitz says of the nearly 17-year-old actor who has been working out daily and has packed on 29 pounds, most of it muscle. “In the first movie, we did not see or recognize how dangerous a character he could be.”

As for Taylor himself, “he can kill me with his left pinky. But he is too nice to do that. There is something compelling and sexy about him. He captures the spirit of Jacob.”

We have more reasons to adore Robert Pattinson because he is a true romantic at heart and believes in falling in love at first sight.

From Times of the Internet.

The 22 year old actor that went from playing a supporting role in the Harry Potter series to being the hottest vampire to hit Hollywood land, has had to adjust to his new found world wide fame and deal with it the best he can.

RPattz recently confessed that he was afraid of crowds and told J-14 magazine that he cried at a Twilight event in Italy. Robert Pattinson said, “I started crying when people were screaming at me. I really didn’t think that would happen. It was completely involuntary.”

His cast mate, Kristen Stewart, caught him with tears in his eyes. Robert said that it was “embarrassing.”

LA Times article about Kristen’s new Movie ‘Adventureland’.

adventureland_filmstill1A section of preteen girls sitting in the balcony decided Stewart was just as good in “Adventureland” as she was as the vampire magnet Bella in “Twilight.” “She was really good!” one squealed. “Yeah, Kristen’s just so real,” said another. An older woman, who’d also seen “Twilight,” told her friend that Stewart still “twitched too much” but thought the movie overall was “pretty funny.”

Meanwhile, Reuters liked it, too, Variety deemed it “rather ordinary,” and The Hollywood Reporter called it “funny and spunky.”

In the movie, Stewart’s character Em (short for Emily) is the object of brainy college grad James’ (Eisenberg) affection, a cool but troubled girl with a messed-up home life. What James doesn’t know is that Em’s coping method has been to sleep with the married janitor (Ryan Reynolds) at the amusement park where they all work. Martin, Starr, Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig also star.

The National Ledger has a small article about Taylor getting ready for New Moon.

Taylor Lautner’s hard work in the gym has paid off as the 16 year old actor won’t be replaced as Jacob after all in the Twilight sequel, New Moon.  He says that might mean a bit more work for Robert Pattinson as well.  Life & Style Weekly spoke with the young actor. “The day after I finished filming Twilight, I came home and started working out like a fiend,” Taylor told the celebrity magazine at the Access Hollywood Stuff You Must gift lounge on Jan. 10.

“I was working out six or seven days a week for two hours a day, going crazy and eating as much as possible.”  Taylor was reportedly in danger of losing his role because he was deemed too lanky for the sequel.  “Recently, I put on 20 pounds, and I guaranteed 10 more,” he says of his rapid bulk-up.  “I’ve put on six of those, so I’ve got four more pounds to go and then I’m a man of my word.”
