Ashley Greene tweeted on october 23th “Guys I can’t believe we’re almost done filming ECLIPSE! How crazy is that?!” and a day later (yesterday) she was seen at the airport with co-star Kellan Lutz so I guess this means Eclipse filming is done.

Next week they will start the promotion tour for New Moon! Are you excited for New Moon?

First of all we want to congratulate Anna Kendrick for winning the 21st annual Palm Springs International Film Festival’s Rising Star Award for her performance in the upcoming “Up in the Air.”

While Anna was at the Palm Springs International Film Festival she did an interview with ET.

ET’s Mary Hart presented actress Anna Kendrick with the Palm Springs International Film Festival Rising Star Award, and the actress opened up about working alongside George Clooney in her new film ‘Up in the Air’ and about her role in the wildly popular ‘Twilight’ film franchise.

Kendrick, 24, plays Bella Swan’s (Kristen Stewart) mortal high school friend in the ‘Twilight’ series. “We had no idea the kind of magnitude of the success that it was about to have,” the actress says of making the first vampire movie.

Popsugar.com posted pictures of Taylor Lautner in Highschool. He looks so cute!

We’ve already had a peek at what Robert Pattinson looked like as a wee one, so it’s only fair to Team Jacob that we look at young Taylor Lautner too. He’s still only a teenager, but here’s a glimpse of what Taylor looked like as a high-schooler in Valencia, CA in 2008. He had a passion for performing in his pre-Twilight days, but Taylor looks different now — especially after bulking up for New Moon.

It looks like there is going to be a movie of “The Host” also written by Stephanie Meyer.

Producers Nick Wechsler, Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz have used their own money to acquire screen rights to “The Host,” the first adult novel written by Stephenie Meyer, author of the “Twilight” series.
Andrew Niccol will write the script and direct.

Meyer’s novel is a love story set in the near future on Earth, which has been assimilated by an alien species of benevolent parasites that call themselves “Souls.” One such soul, the Wanderer, is fused with a dying human named Melanie Stryder, in an attempt to locate the last pocket of surviving humans on Earth.

Wechsler and the Schwartzes are separately teamed on “The Road,” the John Hillcoat-directed adaptation of the Cormac McCarthy novel that will be released Nov. 25 by the Weinstein Co. They are also producing the Paul Schrader-scripted “The Dying of the Light” and an adaptation of Pete Takada book “An Eye at the Top of the World,” which Ryne Douglas Pearson is adapting.

In addition to writing four volumes of the “Twilight” series, Meyer has been heavily involved in the screen transfers, and she spurned several overtures for “The Host.” The producers continued lobbying the author and her UTA reps with a significant offer, a strong vision for the project and a collaborative spirit. Meyer eventually said yes.
