Adam Lambert Craves Eclipse’s Soundtrack

American Idol’s Adam Lambert want to be on ‘Eclipse‘’s soundtrack!

Lambert thinks “Suburban Decay,” a track produced by Rob Cavallo that didn’t make it onto For Your Entertainment, should find a new home on the June 2010 movie’s soundtrack.

“It’s a great song and I hope to perform it someday, and I think it will find a home, on a soundtrack or something … maybe ‘Twilight,’ ” he told MTV News. “It just didn’t quite fit [in my album]. It’s very theatrical. … It’s very campy, and it was just a bit too campy for the album as a big picture.”

Although the vibe was all wrong for his album, it might be perfect to score the intensifying love triangle between Bella, Jacob and Edward. “Hey, ‘Eclipse‘ … Want my song? It’s kind of about vampires,” he offered, noting a verse about “bloodlust.” …

I agree with Veronika, Tina, Ali, and Shea…
Especially with Tina—NOT JUST NO BUT HELL NO!!!! I could use much stronger language too—that is how adamant I am about him not being on the cd. Because of him I would NOT buy the cd!! I know the AMA performance was controversial but do we REALLY want him on the soundtrack so that the focus is on the MUSIC and the controversy and NOT ON THE FILM?!?! Just think of the possible negativity it might create! Focusing on the music is great and all but the film is my main concern here!!!! Sorry for my rant but I just had to get it out. :)

and not in a good way

a repeat performance of rob pattinson on the soundtrack would make me cry in a good way
